Seeds for Legal Initiatives
A legal workshop that introduces law students on how to defend individuals prosecuted under Article 534 from the Lebanese Penal Code, followed by a panel about legal rights, dos and don'ts and protection.
- Seeds for Legal Initiatives organizes its second edition for law students and practitioners on shifting attitudes in the LGBTIQ+ defence in the courtroom, focusing on how to defend individuals prosecuted under Article 534 from the Lebanese Penal Code.
Free of charge, the workshop in open to political science and journalism students.
- A legal Panel will take place from 3 to 4 pm about legal rights, what to do to deescalate a situation, how to remain safe, and what to do in case of detention.
“Seeds” is a non-profit organization that seeks to advocate, empower, integrate, and create awareness about legal and human rights in Lebanon. Collaborating with individuals and organizations, Seeds is born out of the need for simplified legal knowledge
as well as the needs for initiatives that activate the legal system within the different aspects of people’s lives to enhance human rights.
